Then MIKE SHINODA hopped in the LPU Chat to take questions for Linkin Park Radio!

Here some Q&A:

Q: When will LP Radio work outside of the US?

mike: I'm checking into the "US only" question. They changed it on us, and I'm not happy w/ that

mike: It's something that I Heart Radio did. We obviously have lots of listeners outside US.

Q: can you tell something about the LP-internal responsibilities of each member?

mike: everyone contributes in different ways, and those responsibilties change.

Q: will you be broadcasting in the LPU again during the LP Radio?
mike: I'm not going on video this time, since I'm doing it at a different location and can't tap into phone line

mike: In other words, I have to take ?s here, and answer them into the mic/.

Q: From where do you get your inspirations for your art? :D

mike: all kinds of places...but that leads me to something I'm going to

Q: Is there any idea at the expense of new games for the Iphone?

mike: Games: we like making games. Hoping something might work out for next year!

Linkin Park have announced that they are cancelling their show at the Deluna Fest in Pensacola, Florida, on October 16th.

"We regret that we must withdraw from our October 16 performance at DeLuna Fest in Pensacola, FL. As much as we were looking forward to rocking our final date of the year with our Florida fans, Chester has been advised to have immediate shoulder surgery as a result of an injury he sustained during our recent tour in Asia.

We are sorry for any disappointment this has caused and look forward to seeing you again soon.

LPU Summit Day 2:

The main Summit event was on July 21 at O2 World Arena, Hamburg.

First we could chose one of the activities: Walk across Linkin Park´s stage, backstage tour or the crew bus tour.
I´ve chosen the "crew bus tour". :)

Before we´ve made the activities, we buyed some Raffle tickets to win some prizes like:
- Photographer for a day
- Side stage viewing
- One-on-One photo with the band
- Dressing room/backstage tour led by Mike Shinoda
- or Roadie for the night

There was an auction for some exclusive, rare and signed Linkin Park merchandise, for example Brad´s guitar, Mike Shinoda´s A Thousand Suns Gold Award from Austria, a Xero cassette cover and so on.
And some of the LPUers created a message of hope for Japan.

After that we all went to our activities.

We´ve played minigolf with the LPU team at Schwarzlichtviertel, Hamburg.

Schwarzlichtviertel at Hamburg is a nice place to play minigolf the "blacklight rooms" looking really good.

It was really great to meet some of the other LPU members and the LPU HQ team :D

The first show in Germany was really great! They started the show with 'The Requiem' and the encore incluted,.... surprise, surprise... ;D

"I present to you our new music video for "Iridescent," from the movie, Transformers: Dark of the Moon. The video explores how human existence might be affected by the elements of Transformers robots and the threat of the Decepticons. What would it be like to be citizens in a decaying universe? I tried a lot of new things here, and we had a lot of fun shooting it. Hope you enjoy."
